Aspinwall House

The main Biennale venue, once headquarters of a British trading firm.

Event venue

A large waterfront property that was once the headquarters of the British trading firm Aspinwall & Company, with an old coir godown alongside. The site became the main venue of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale; during the 2025–26 edition, visitors moved through rooms containing works about decay, archaeology, queer transition, and the politics of the archive. The old Cochin Library once stood on this site, adding another layer to its history.
