Road
Bazaar Road is one of Mattancherry's old spice-trading streets. Its warehouses once had a door opening onto the road and a private jetty at the back, where pepper, grain, timber, and other goods moved through the port. Some godowns now house cafés, galleries, and Kochi-Muziris Biennale venues, including Anand Warehouse, BMS Warehouse, and 111 Markaz. The road still makes the connection between Mattancherry's working waterfront and its contemporary art scene visible.
