It has a main gallery and a separate Viewing Room, allowing more than one exhibition to run at a time. Its programme has included exhibitions that bring older cultural frameworks, such as the 2,000-year-old Tamil idea of landscape and emotion, into conversation with contemporary painting, sculpture, and installation.
