About
Where Memories Are Immured is a haunting mixed-media installation by the Free Thinkers Collective—five artists from Aligarh Muslim University. Their words carry the weight of innocence confronting harsh realities:
"Every day feels like struggle and suffering. People say this is how the world works, but it feels unfair and confusing to me. Sometimes I wonder if I am being punished for something I don't even know. Did I do something wrong, Mother? Where was my fault in all of this?"
The collective transforms these questions into spatial experience. Memories are immured: walled up, sealed away, yet somehow still speaking.
